Authentication

It is our utmost priority that all artworks purchased from ÉDITIONS COMTE are sold with a Certificate of Authenticity, allowing our clients to have absolute confidence when buying a work. ÉDITIONS COMTE has the exclusive right to offer certificates of authenticity for photographic works by the artist.

Original Certificates of Authenticity will feature the handwritten title of the artwork and the edition number, bearing the official Estate Stamp. All direct sales will be safely and securely recorded in the Official Archives of ÉDITIONS COMTE facilitate any future queries with authentication. Any data relating to our clients will be handled with the strictest confidence and in compliance with local and international regulations.

Certificates of Authenticity are delivered separately from the work and should be affixed to the back of the frame upon receipt.

All original works of art by Michel Comte are also sold accompanied by an Original Invoice. This will include an image of the work and full details (edition number, dimensions, material used and weight).
